
Dagmar Ehling, MAc, LAc, Dipl OM
Dagmar Ehling has been a licensed Doctor of Oriental Medicine in New Mexico for 34 years. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Acupuncture from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM, and is nationally certified in Oriental Medicine by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine). In 1994, her book The Chinese Herbalist’s Handbook was published; she is the author of several articles.
She was a faculty member at the International Institute of Chinese Medicine in Santa Fe, NM for five years, served as a New Mexico State License examiner for four years, and on the NCCAOM Exam Development Committee for the national Chinese herbal certification exam for seven years. She is a former fellow and exam chair of the Acupuncture & TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine (ABORM), and is a GAPS (Gut and Psychology Syndrome) certified practitioner. She studied functional medicine with Datis Kharrazian, PhD since 2008 and was one of the first acupuncturists credentialed at Duke Integrative Medicine. She taught Chinese herbal medicine and nutrition to physicians in Germany and Italy for ten years, lectures nationally and internationally, and online. Ms. Ehling specializes in women’s health issues, internal medicine, metabolic disorders, respiratory, auto-immune and hormonal imbalances, and assists patients with cancer. She offers online lifestyle coaching using dietary recommendations, supplements, homeopathy, and trace mineral salts.
